We've kept the same Thanksgiving tradition going for 4 years now. Wednesday and Thursday we spend with Cory's grandparents on the St. John's river for a super traditional This year we attempted to take some group pictures by the river. Everyone hated it, and the whole experience was really fun. I also attempted to make a cheesecake for the occasion. The good news is, it looked pretty. So that's something, right?
Every year (and I hardly think this is a tradition limited to our family) we go around and say what we're thankful for. I know I'm such a sappy mylamepants, but I got so teary eyed when it came to be my turn. I'm so thankful for my little family. I'm so lucky to have her and Cory.
Oh geez. I got teary eyed just typing that. Anyways...
After eating as much turkey and squash casserole as our bellies could hold, we head over to my parent's house for Steaksgiving. Which is exactly what it sounds like. This year we added a little birthday cake for Nathaniel, Tanya and Cory. Cake and Steak. That's what I'm talking about.
This picture makes me so happy. Cheesin' hard. |
