Tallahassee Jr. Museum (aka what I've been missing this whole time)

A few weeks ago we went to the Jr. Museum with Nate. Tanya has a season pass to the museum and gets to bring a friend for free! Which was pretty awesome. It's one of those places in town that I've always meant to check out but never seemed to make it. But now we did make it and it was definitely worth the trip.

It's the closest to a zoo that we have in town, and it shows the native wildlife the panhandle has to offer. They have big fat turkey, deer, wolves, a giant bobcat, otters (that bite), and even a skunk! They used to have an alligator but it wasn't out...I think it died. And they usually have a tank with baby alligators you can touch but they were rebuilding the habitat so they were elsewhere too. So we missed the gators but maybe we'll get to se them next time.

Amelia loved it and Nate was our little miniature tour guide. They have big enclosures for the animals, surrounded by boardwalks going through the swampy marshland that is north Florida. At the end they have a big playground that the kids went crazy on, and the pictures of them on the slides are priceless. Cousins are the best.

Okay, I swear I commented on this already. Anywho, the one of Nate flat on his back on the slide is priceless! Let's go again soon!
