Introducing...

Baby Girl made her appearance last week! Cory finished his last final at 3:45 PM on Thursday, and we were admitted to the hospital at 6:00 PM. The labor and delivery was fairly quick, and the recovery has been fairly easy so far. I'm so impressed by the human body right now.

We're home now, and deliriously happy. Cory has three weeks until he starts his job, and we're filling our days with diaper changes and rocking sweet baby Amelia to sleep. We spend a ridiculous amount of time just looking at her and telling each other how cute she is. We're so in love with this tiny little person.

P.S. Shout out to my girl Freya, who was kind enough to bring her fancy camera to the hospital and snap some pictures of our first days with Baby Girl. She's my fave.

Yeah! Congratulations. The human body is an amazing gift. She is beautiful and I'm so glad you have 3 weeks before he starts work to be able to soak up that beautiful little girl and be together as a family.

Love the pictures and Amelia Kate already! Thank you so much again for allowing me to come visit and hold her for awhile. She is too precious. Amen to 3 weeks of family time bliss! I'm so happy Cory gets to relax and just soak in life after school awesomeness =)

I love these pictures so much!! Freya told me that when she came to see yall, you had soup cooking and a clean house! GIRL! Motherhood obviously came naturally for you (as I expected it to) and I am so happy for you! You are GLOWING and that baby Amelia? I love her. Her cute little face! Little nose! So cute. A good recovery is key to helping with those post baby blues. Still take it easy because even though you feel good, you did JUST have a baby. It hit me later and I think that's why I bled longer. Sad we are moving and I can't see this little sweet babe, but that's what FB and blogs are for!

You looked way too good for having just given birth. But I love these pictures! They are great. I wish we had some nice hospital pictures, but at the time I wasn't the least bit concerned about them. Now I know for next time!
