I don't get love letters. But I do get egg rolls. And they're kind of the same thing.

Maybe its because I'm not really a "soup person" per se, but I've never really gone for the egg drop soup at Chinese restaurants. I don't hate it it just...doesn't exist to me. I wasn't even really aware that it was a thing until I ate Chinese food with Cory and he ordered it specifically. And then watched him make multiple trips back to the buffet just to come back with a bowl of egg drop soup. And I was like, "Oh. People do eat that." So, now I know.

There is a little Chinese restaurant down the street that he's really taken a shine too.  Every time he gets it he says, "This is really good egg drop." So there you have it. Tallahassee's best kept secret.

Anyway, he picked some Chinese food up for lunch the other day, and put the leftovers in the fridge for me. I saw an egg roll, and I got super excited because I love egg rolls. I was all, "Hey, you didn't eat the egg roll!? Do you not like egg rolls? What is wrong with you?" And he was all, "I like egg rolls, but I know you really like egg rolls, so I saved it for you."

If that's not love, I don't want it.

What is thisplace you speak of? We are always shopping around for a new Chinese place. My Chinese standards are pf changs. Loooooove p.f. So I have a hard time eating at hole in the wall places, but Ryan loves anything Chinese. .

I have never had egg drop soup either. I guess it is pretty good. FYI you totally have to try China Delight on Tennessee Street. It looks shady on the outside but it's really nice on the inside and it's great food too.

One of my professors said that if asian people eat at an asian and/or chinese restaurant in the US you know it's good and when we went there was a huge table of asian people. HAHA

It's Long Garden right next to the Panera in the Publix shopping center on Ocala. I didn't think the rest of their stuff was anything special--just typical super sweet General Tso's. I mean, delicious, but not too much different than any other Chinese place around.

Kendal--CHINA DELIGHT is truly a DELIGHT. It's my favorite Chinese in Tallahassee by far. You can actually see the meat, rather than a fried sugar ball (nothing against fried sugar balls). Anyway, that is the restaurant Cory took me to the night he proposed so...yea. We're fans. haha :)

Oh my gosh, that's just the best little story! I love shrimp, but I always save it for Danny. For years he thought I hated it. When I finally broke down and confessed that it was one of my favorites, he was tormented with guilt. I should have been honest from the get-go like Cory was. It's as simple as "I do like them, but I LOVE you. So I saved it for you."
Your husband is rearry sweet.
